POUNCE! 2025: Two Days of Cat-Centered Learning, Wherever You Curl Up
Are you ready to pounce into knowledge?! Join us for POUNCE! 2025, the fifth annual virtual gathering that celebrates all things feline — from cutting-edge science and behavior to hands-on training and veterinary care.
Over the course of two inspiring days — Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 — you’ll hear from leading experts and researchers who share not just data, but real-world strategies that make a difference in the lives of cats and the people who love them.
Where: Online so that you can tune in from anywhere — your office, your couch, or your coziest cat-friendly corner.
POUNCE! has become a must-attend event for professionals working with cats. Each year, we bring together practical know-how, fresh research, and the latest trends in feline welfare. Join CAAB, VB, and PhD speakers, including Mikel Delgado, Kristyn Vitale, Zazie Todd, and other top-tier professionals in the field.
Can’t make it live? Don’t worry — all sessions (including Q&As) will be recorded and available for at least a year, or as long as you keep your IAABC Foundation account active (make one purchase per year).

Dr. Christine Calder DVM, DACVB
Dr. Calder has lived and practiced veterinary medicine in both New Jersey and Maine for many years. In addition to general practice, she spent time as part of the behavior service at San Francisco SPCA and in Community Practice as part of several veterinary school teaching hospitals. As a general practitioner, Dr. Calder always had an interest in animal behavior and in 2016, she finished a residency with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists becoming a Diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (DACVB) in 2017. In addition to her own behavior referral practice, Dr. Calder is the Chief Behavior Officer for an online educational platform and a Vet at VIN Consultant. She has a special interest in education and the preparation for veterinary students to help them be "Day One” ready for practice.
